1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup raspberries
(I used fresh berries that I had placed in the freezer, but you could use frozen berries if that is all you have. Whenever possible, I try to use fresh produce because I think it is better for you).
2 Tablespoons Wheat Germ
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil (Great Source of Energy)
1 Cup Orange Juice
Place all ingredients in blender until coconut oil has been incorporated into mixture. This makes a wonderful breakfast substitute and really tastes great! But…don’t take my word for it, try it yourself!
Just a word about Coconut Oil: To be perfectly honest with you, It had never crossed my mind to use this in any way..at all. A few weeks ago Chris and I were at my Son and Daughter-In-Laws house and she was rubbing something on her skin that smelled so good… It was Coconut Oil, and after trying it out on my own skin I was amazed. I have been doing some research for myself about this wonderful oil and have found that it is very beneficial to our overall well-being.
